Need for clean water continues to increase along with the increase in population is expected to increase to 17% in 2020. This is directly proportional to the high demand for clean water in densely populated areas of IDR 43 trillion, while the ability of the central government financing of IDR 500 billion/year. Need for clean water is also aggravate water supply is provided taps for densely populated areas due to at least water catchment areas. One of Indonesia's potential is high rainfall reaches 2,779 mm per year and not used optimally, causing catastrophic flooding. The solution offered by the application of RANEL (Rainwater Catchment and Infiltration Well) with the concept of Rain Water Harvesting in densely populated area as a solution to the high demand for water and flooding in densely populated area that has not been found effective solutions. RANEL is a rainwater tool combined with water infiltration wells facilitated by the filter for each home residents. Advantages of RANEL is efficient in terms of place and effective to accommodate the amount of water so applicable and sustainable for applied densely populated region. Additionally, RANEL made using simple materials, inexpensive, and easy to obtain as fiber glass, pipes, pumps, filters and other supporting materials, so that the cost of manufacture and installation only IDR 2.066 million which includes very cheap. Applications RANEL (Rainwater Catchment and Infiltration Well) with the concept of Rain Water Harvesting is expected to be a solution to the problem of water availability in densely populated areas.
