Based For The HIV

Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) that causes Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) has become a topical issue in the world. One of the developing countries are facing a serious problem of HIV is Indonesia. The disease is characterized by symptoms of decline in the human immune system. The solution is never applied anti-retroviral drugs (ARVs) may help reduce the morbidity and premature mortality due to HIV infection. However, treatment with these drugs is very expensive, not everyone can buy this medication. In addition, malnutrition for the body, side effects and compliance seriously compromise lifelong antiretroviral consumption becomes a serious problem today. Subsidizing the cost of ARV treatment from the health department was not quite uneven, and most patients with HIV/AIDS is difficult to obtain these services. So the authors provide solutions BESAN which is a supplement to the formulation of pineapple, banana peels, and mulberry to help overcome malnutrition in HIV patients. Pineapple contains 9.61 mg/ml of the bromelain enzyme which can increase CD4 in human with HIV blood. Banana peel contains vitamin C as an antioxidant, vitamin B6 to stimulate serotonin as an anti-depressant. While mulberry contains cyanidin, Isoquercetin, saccharides, linoleic acid, stearic acid, oleic acid, and vitamins (carotene, B1, B2 and C) as a source of antioxidants. By using nanoencapsulation technology forming smaller particle size in the nanoscale size that can protect a compound of decomposition, the compound can achieve the targeted treatment, control the release of active substances and prolong the action of the drug and reduce the side effects of drugs. Encapsulation method used is sonochemical method utilizing ultrasonic waves using chitosan coating. The SEM images, the combination of chitosan concentration of 2% and 50 mL sample showed a more uniform chitosan nanoparticles. In addition, the expected outcome is achieved in the community so that the output socioecotechnology strategic steps undertaken to achieve that provide socialization in society, the introduction of technology, build partnerships with relevant stakeholders, promote and market the product in the community and realize the target Socioecotechnology on a wide scale.
