Heart Disease (CHD) is a non-infectious disease that is number one killer in
the world. The high CHD patients is proportional to the change in lifestyle of
the people who are not healthy. unhealthy lifestyle can increase blood
cholesterol levels are a major cause of atherosclerosis. To reduce the risk of
atherosclerosis and lower cholesterol levels (hipolipidemia) do therapeutic
diet high in fiber such as pectin-rich foods. unfortunately the food was
outstanding in today's society a low content of pectin. Therefore, the authors
provide a solution that is product innovation PECMA (marshmallow RICH pectin
content). PECMA is Marshmallow soft and tasty making it suitable for
consumption by consumers of all ages. PECMA is made from cheap raw materials and
abundant in Indonesia that is a combination of high banana peel pectin and
gelatin derived from fish canning waste bones. Pectin is a compound that can
bind fat and cholesterol that fat and cholesterol are not absorbed by the blood
vessels. While the fish bone gelatin-based products have the advantages
guarantee halal gelatin. The method of making PECMA includes the making gelatin
from fish bones, manufacture pectin from banana peels and manufacture
